I’m a firm believer that healthy baking just doesn’t work. If you want a good chocolate chip cookie, it needs butter, all-purpose flour, and real sugar. No Splenda, no Stevia, no honey or agave nectar. If you make a paleo, “skinny,” or “clean” cookie, it might still be good, but it won’t be as good. Trust.
But, for whatever reason, I abandoned my own cookie philosophy and tried to cook flourless blondies. It was one, giant fail. Sigh. I don’t want to talk about it.
But, then, I remembered I purposefully shelled out some cash to buy Honey Maid graham crackers for no other reason than to support a brand that made a bold commercial and stood by it against its opposition.
No clue what I’m talking about? Watch this.
Awesome, right? Makes you want to go out and make some s’mores or eat some Teddy Grahams right?
Well if you don’t have a fire pit and you aren’t 5, you should make these – Graham Cracker Chocolate Chip Cookies.
I’ll admit, these are your run-of-the-mill chocolate chip cookies. But, some of the flour is subbed out for crushed graham crackers. And tastiness ensues! Thin, but still gooey, and full of flavor. Highly recommend using cinnamon graham crackers if you can.
